Who is GIZ ?

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (English: German Agency for International Cooperation GmbH), often simply shortened to GIZ, is the main German development agency. It is headquartered in Bonn and Eschborn and provides services in the field of international development cooperation and international education work. About The Project

Jordan’s unemployment problem continues to be high and the government is continuously trying to find means and ways to solve this issue. In an attempt to tackle the unemployment problem in Jordan, GIZ funded a project named “MatchMaker” which was aimed at reducing this problem. The project provided a complete online portal platform that allowed companies and individuals to submit their information to be cross matched with each other. The individual candidate was able to submit their information through a predefined parameter's and therefore, enroll in the education process and get certified through the system.

The following were the project technical capabilities and features:

  • Built over JavaScript, XML and CSS
  • Constructed over a dedicated cloud server infrastructure
  • Connected to PowerBI Tools
  • Integrated with Microsoft Teams
  • Detailed design and layout for the basic user experience
  • Cross-matching using automated rules
  • Data export and matching using XML Rules




LHSS Spreading Awareness in the Health Sector
The project is a part of the awareness program in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and funded by the USAID. The project is built over a customized platform built with Python, JavaScript and XML.
